| To ensure the
beauty and safety of our community in which we live and
work, the Aurora Police Department is in charge of enforcing the City
of Aurora's municipal codes in reference to nuisances,weeds, litter,
stagnant water, abandoned automobiles, and unlicensed or inoperable
vehicles. |

- 6-501. Violation; Penalty.
- Any person who shall violate or
refuse to comply with the
enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not
more than one hundred ($500.00) dollars for each offense. A new
violation shall be deemed to have been committed every twenty-four (24)
hours of such failure to comply.
